The Division of International Affairs, Office of the University, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) is pleased to announce the recruitment of an English Consultant to support English language development, international communication, and the University’s internationalization initiatives.

Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities
1. English Language Training and Development
Plan, organize, and deliver English language training courses and activities for UBU students and personnel, including preparation for standardized English proficiency tests such as TOEFL and TOEIC, as well as English courses tailored to the needs of graduate students, academic staff, and administrative staff.
2. English Language Editing and Academic Support
Provide English language editing, proofreading, and consultation services for university materials, including academic papers, abstracts, conference presentations, news releases, correspondence, brochures, booklets, signs, displays, and other English-language publications or materials produced by UBU personnel and units.
3. English-Language Communication and Website Content
Develop, review, edit, and maintain English-language content for UBU websites and other communication channels to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriateness for international audiences.
4. International Student Recruitment and Public Relations
Support and proactively develop public relations activities for the recruitment of international students, including the preparation of English promotional materials, dissemination of information on UBU programs and opportunities, and communication with prospective international students and partner institutions.
5. International Education and Overseas Study Support
Provide information and consultation to UBU students and personnel regarding opportunities for overseas study, exchange programs, scholarships, and other international academic activities, and facilitate links with international institutions where appropriate.
6. International Community and Engagement Development
Initiate and coordinate activities that strengthen the international environment of the University, including the establishment and development of the American Corner, intercultural and English-language activities, and networking activities among international and Thai students, faculty members, and staff to promote interaction, cultural exchange, and an international community on campus.
7. International Relations and General English-Language Support
Support the day-to-day international affairs functions of the Division, including reviewing English correspondence and documents, advising staff on English-language usage, facilitating communication with international partners, and performing other duties related to international affairs and the English language as assigned by the President or authorized representative.
