Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), by Division of International Affairs, officially inaugurated the UBU International Language and Culture Camp 2026 and warmly welcomed both international exchange students and UBU students participating in the program. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration, who represented the President of Ubon Ratchathani University in delivering the welcome address and officially declaring the program open.

The UBU International Language and Culture Camp 2026 was held from 25–31 July 2026 as an academic and cultural exchange program designed to support the University's strategic plan to increase the number of inbound exchange students. The program also aims to foster meaningful friendships and strengthen collaborative networks between Thai and international students while promoting intercultural understanding through a wide range of academic, language, and cultural activities.

The camp serves as an important platform for participants to enhance their intercultural communication skills, broaden their global perspectives, and gain first-hand experience of Thai language, culture, and society. At the same time, it provides UBU students with valuable opportunities to interact with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds, enriching their international learning experience and preparing them to become globally competent graduates.

Through initiatives such as the UBU International Language and Culture Camp 2026, Ubon Ratchathani University continues to strengthen its international engagement, expand academic partnerships, and reinforce its position as a globally connected institution. The program also reflects the University's commitment to advancing internationalization and enhancing its reputation as one of the leading universities in the ASEAN region.
