The Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chalermchai Wongrak, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations, together with Ms. Kittiya Duangkhamsorn, International Relations Officer, led a group of 30 students to participate in the “HUFLIS Cultural Exchange Program in Vietnam.” The program was held at the Hue University of Foreign Languages and International Studies (HUFLIS), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, from 19–26 April 2026.
On this occasion, the delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Trần Quang Ngọc Thúy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Studies at HUFLIS, reflecting the strong academic partnership and cordial relations between the two institutions.
The program aimed to enhance students’ language proficiency, promote intercultural learning, and broaden global perspectives through academic and cultural exchange activities with international peers. These experiences provided valuable preparation for students to thrive in an increasingly globalized professional environment.
This collaboration marks another significant milestone in strengthening educational and research networks between Thailand and Vietnam, while also contributing to the enhancement of teaching and learning quality at the Faculty of Liberal Arts in alignment with international standards.
The Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University, remains committed to developing graduates with strong competencies in language, cultural understanding, and global citizenship, while providing opportunities for students to learn and grow through meaningful international experiences.
