UBU Students Win Four Awards at CWIE Excellence Competition 2026 in Lower Northeastern Network

On 3 April 2026, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Dr. Anusorn Bunteong, Assistant to the President for Educational Information, along with university representatives, participated in the CWIE Outstanding Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education Exhibition and Competition 2026 for the Lower Northeastern Higher Education Network. The event was hosted by Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, Chaiyaphum Province.

UBU students achieved remarkable success, winning a total of four awards, including two first prizes and two runner-up awards. The competition brought together nine higher education institutions from the Lower Northeastern region, with presentations conducted in both online and onsite formats. A total of 66 projects were presented, including 40 oral presentations and 26 poster presentations.

2.1 First Runner-Up (Social Sciences and Humanities):

Miss Mintra Hongsrimueang, Public Administration, Faculty of Political Science

Project: Enhancing the Efficiency of Employee ID Card Data Collection Using Google Workspace: A Case Study of Savan Park Office and Companies in Zone C, Lao PDR

2.2 First Runner-Up (International Category):

Miss Yanatchara Wichianthawatchai, Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering

Project: Co-ZIF-67 Decorated MXene Nanocomposite as a Catalyst for Peroxymonosulfate Activation in the Degradation of Methylene Blue

Dr. Anusorn Bunteong noted that the CWIE exhibition and competition serves as a valuable platform for students to exchange knowledge, present their work, and strengthen academic communication skills at the network level. The event also promotes the application of innovation in cooperative and work-integrated education, while fostering collaboration and work-integrated sharing between educational institutions and industry partners.

This achievement reflects Ubon Ratchathani University’s strong commitment to advancing Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE), emphasising the integration of academic knowledge with practical experience, and equipping studentswith the skills and innovative thinking needed for future professional success.
