On 27 March 2026, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Savan Pacifica Development Co., Ltd. from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the Phibun Mangsahan Meeting Room, Ubon Ratchathani University. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in education, student internships, and human resource development between the two countries.
The ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University, together with university executives and staff, who warmly welcomed Mr. Tee Chee Seng, Executive Director of Savan Pacifica Development Co., Ltd., and his delegation.
On this occasion, Dr. Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, together with representatives from the company, presented the framework for collaboration. The partnership will focus on knowledge exchange, student internship opportunities, and the development of career pathways at the regional level. Both parties also discussed future directions for expanding joint initiatives.
This MOU marks a significant milestone for Ubon Ratchathani University in expanding its regional partnership network. It is expected not only to enhance academic excellence and professional skill development among students at an international level, but also to strengthen economic and social ties between Thailand and the Lao PDR through collaborative human resource development.
