The Office of International Relations and Education at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) organized the UBU Ambassadors 2026 Program from 23–25 March 2026 at Sek Sky Villa & Cafe, Sirindhorn District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The program aimed to enhance students’ English language proficiency in preparation for living abroad, as well as to foster positive attitudes and a deeper understanding of adaptation in international settings. Conducted under the theme “Confidently Stepping onto the Global Stage as Professional University Representatives”,the program was attended by more than 40 UBU students.
Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, stated that the program has been organized continuously to build students’ confidence in using English prior to participating in exchange programs or internships abroad. The program also aims to strengthen students’ cultural awareness and adaptability for living in international environments. The Office of International Relations and Education remains committed to supporting and encouraging students to broaden their perspectives and gain valuable international experience.
The program featured a series of lectures and interactive workshops focusing on English communication skills, personality development, and preparation for living abroad. Participants were given opportunities to practice and apply their knowledge in real-life situations.
The training covered the following topics:
1. Roles and responsibilities of students as representatives of Ubon Ratchathani University and Thailand
2. From Campus to Global: Presenting the University’s strengths to an international audience
3. Workshops on personality development and international etiquette; essential daily communication for international students; presentation skills; and cross-cultural interaction andsocial English
This program reflects Ubon Ratchathani University’s strong commitment to developing students’ potential and preparing them to engage confidently on the international stage, enabling them to represent the university with professionalism and distinction.
