On 24 November 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration, together with university executives and staff, warmly welcomed faculty members and students from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia. The delegation was headed by Associate Professor Dr. Susilawati Kasim, Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, UPM. The meeting took place at the Phibun Mangsahan Meeting Room, Office of the President Building 2.
During the visit, both institutions engaged in discussions to explore academic collaboration and knowledge exchange in the areas of waste management and sustainable agriculture. The program also included interactive learning activities with undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in UPM’s Waste Management course, hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, UBU.
This meeting and exchange activity marks a significant step toward strengthening academic cooperation between the two universities. It contributes to enhancing knowledge, fostering academic engagement among students and staff, and advancing the shared goal of sustainable development for both institutions.
