On 12 November 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), through the Division of Academic Services, organized a workshop titled “Integrating Agricultural Knowledge and Technology to Enhance Agricultural Careers for Primary Education.” The activity, held at Office of the President Building 1, welcomed more than 80 teachers and students from six local primary schools including Ban Huaydue School, Ban Yangnoi School, Ban Koom School, Ban Kambak School, Somdetpraratchachonnani School, and Ban Nonnongbua School.
The workshop featured four creative learning stations designed to introduce modern agricultural technologies:
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of UBU, Assistant Professor Dr. Charuwan Thanawiroon, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Assistant Professor Kesorn Sattratham, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, visited the activity stations to observe and encourage the participants.
Assistant Professor Dr. Charuwan Thanawiroon, emphasized that the initiative enhances educational quality and local development by introducing modern agricultural innovations to young students, fostering technological literacy, and encouraging positive attitudes toward future agricultural careers. The workshop promoted “Active Learning”, enabling students to explore, practice, and apply creative agricultural technologies that can support sustainable community development.
This experience encourages positive attitudes toward agricultural careers and supports the development of knowledgeable, capable, and technology-savvy young agriculturalists who can contribute to sustainable community development in the future.
