Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) congratulates Mr. Chakkrit Jamrat, lecturer in the Professional Teacher Program, Faculty of Education, on receiving the “National Outstanding Role Model Award” at the national recognition ceremony for exemplary youths and individuals under the theme “Keng Dee Mee Khunnaphap” (Excellent, Virtuous, and Quality Individuals) in celebration of Thailand’s National Youth Day 2025.
The event was organized by the Council of Creative Artists for Society, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and network partner organizations, and was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukphasuk, Privy Councillor. The award ceremony took place on 1 November 2025 at Central Ramindra, Bangkok. Only 18 recipients nationwide were selected from more than 400 nominees across the country.
Mr. Chakkrit expressed that he is deeply honored to receive this prestigious award, which recognizes outstanding contributions that create positive social impact, particularly in the field of educational development for Thai children and youth. He emphasized that this award not only acknowledges past achievements, but also serves as an inspiration for future teachers enrolled at the Faculty of Education, UBU—encouraging them to contribute to society, expand opportunities, and instill positive values among students.
This award reaffirms the Faculty of Education’s mission as an institution dedicated to developing the next generation of high-quality Thai teachers—innovative, ethical, and exemplary—and reflects the pride of UBU in having educational personnel recognized at the national level.
UBU remains committed to producing graduates and developing human resources of the highest caliber, who will continue to play a significant role in advancing Thai society and national development.
