On September 17-19, 2025, Dr. Pracha Khamphakdi, Vice Dean for Student Development, Faculty of Engineering represented Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) at the EAS Knowledge Exchange Workshop on Energy Efficiency Policies & LiFE hosted by Nalanda University, India. The event, co-organized by the ASEAN Centre for Energy and India’s Ministry of External Affairs, gathered leaders and experts from East Asia Summit (EAS) countries to exchange best practices on energy efficiency, sustainable lifestyles, and climate action.
Dr. Khamphakdi highlighted UBU’s initiatives in smart technologies and community engagement to promote sustainable living and climate resilience. Participants also explored Nalanda University’s Net-Zero Campus, a global model of green infrastructure powered by solar energy, biogas, and advanced water and cooling systems.
UBU’s participation reflects its commitment to advancing international collaboration in sustainability and supporting policies that foster innovation, resilience, and higher education for sustainable development.
