Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) organized the UBU Research Expo 2025 from September 6 to 7, 2025, at Ubon Hall, Central Plaza, Ubon Ratchathani. The event was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of UBU, who delivered the welcome address, followed by a report on the event's objectives presented by Professor Dr. Tuantong Jutagate, Vice President for Research and Innovation. The opening ceremony was presided over by Lt. Sornmongkol Mongkalasiri, Deputy Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province.

The Expo featured a wide range of activities, including exhibitions of more than 100 outstanding research and innovation projects, research presentations by faculty members and students, recognition awards for researchers, academic competitions, and public engagement activities. The exhibitions and services were organized into the following zones: 

1. UBU Research Highlight Zone– showcasing outstanding research in five key areas: Agriculture and Food; Health and Medicine; Energy and Environment; Digital and Technology; and Society, Culture, and Community.
2. UBU Innovation Showcase– presenting prototype innovations and research with practical applications in commerce and society, such as waterless shampoo, skincare products, and innovative health testing kits.
3. UBU Young Researcher & Student Project Zone– highlighting research and innovations developed by students.
4. Hall of Fame– honoring researchers and research achievements recognized at national and international levels.
5. Academic Services Zone– offering consultation and disseminating knowledge from faculties and units in fields such as health, law, business administration, and scientific instrument services.
6. Research Product Zone– providing opportunities for participants to purchase products developed from research.

In addition, the program included academic discussions, keynote lectures, competitions,

and researcher recognition awards, all of which fostered an intensive academic atmosphere while encouraging active participation from the general public.

The UBU Research Expo 2025 served as an important opportunity for the University to

present its academic achievements, research excellence, and innovative contributions to the wider community, while reinforcing its commitment to advancing knowledge for sustainable development.
