UBU Hosts Anatomy Dissection Training Program with College of Manual Therapy, Japan

From 24 to 30 August 2025, faculty members and students from the College of Manual Therapy, Japan, led by Dr. Naoki Sakakibara, together with students Mr. Daimon Takase, Mr. Sho Inoue, and Mr. Hikaru Takaoka, participated in the Anatomy Dissection Training Program at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU).

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Sanguansin Rattanalert, M.D., Dean of the College of Medicine and Public Health, UBU. The program was organized to strengthen academic cooperation between UBU and the College of Manual Therapy, with a focus on knowledge exchange in anatomy and experiential learning for students and faculty of both institutions. 

During the program, the delegation engaged in cadaver dissection training, guided by UBU’s expert faculty members, who provided both theoretical insights and hands-on instruction. On this occasion, Dr. Naoki Sakakibara, the President of the College of Manual Therapy, also delivered a lecture on advanced approaches in anatomy training in Japan, highlighting modern techniques and practice-oriented pedagogies. 

This collaboration reflects the strong commitment of both institutions to advancing academic cooperation and establishing a joint learning platform that enhances professional expertise and fosters international academic development for the future.
