On August 26, 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), through the Office of International Relations and Education, warmly welcomed 14 faculty members and exchange students from Kobe University, Japan, led by Associate Professor Dr. Katsuaki Enoi. The delegation is participating in the Thai–Japanese Language and Cultural Exchange Program, held from August 25 to September 5, 2025.
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of UBU, who delivered the welcome speech. Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, along with university administrators, faculty, staff, and students, also joined the event. The event also featured the presentation of souvenirs as a gesture of goodwill. The program took place at the Phibun Mangsahan Meeting Room, Office of the President Building 2.
The collaboration with Kobe University represents an important step in strengthening academic cooperation and creating international platforms for students. Beyond fostering cross-cultural understanding and language learning, the program also enhances communication skills, intercultural competence and provides valuable experiences that can be extended to future research and academic collaboration.
