On 18 August 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), through the Office of International Relations and Education in collaboration with the Faculty of Liberal Arts, hosted a welcome and orientation program for 19 exchange students from the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University (HUFLIS), Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The event was held at the Warin Chamrap Meeting Room, Office of the President Building 2, UBU.
The program was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the President of UBU, who delivered welcoming remarks and extended warm greetings to the students. International Relations and Education staff were also present to provide information about UBU, offer guidance on campus life, and ensure the students’ readiness and confidence for their upcoming experiences.
The Practicum Program is conducted under the framework of the English Language Teaching Practicum, running from 15 August – 10 September 2025 at UBU. The program aims to enhance students’ professional teaching skills within a cross-cultural context. Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including classroom observation, lesson planning, micro-teaching practice, Thai cultural learning, and educational excursions.
This initiative underscores UBU’s strong commitment to advancing its internationalization mission while equipping students with the skills and perspectives necessary to engage effectively and sustainably within the global community.
