On July 2, 2025, the Office of International Relations and Education at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) hosted a welcome and orientation ceremony for incoming international exchange students. The event took place at the Phibun Mangsahan Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Office of the President Building 2. Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by faculty members and representatives from various respective faculties who warmly welcomed the students.
A total of nine exchange students from South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, and India have arrived to participate in academic studies and cultural activities under the university’s exchange program. The program is supported by UBU’s funding to promote academic cooperation with international partner institutions. During the orientation, the Office of International Relations and Education introduced the students to various academic and cultural activities that they will engage in throughout the program.
This initiative reflects UBU’s strong commitment to internationalization, fostering a dynamic learning environment and meaningful friendships between Thai and international students. It also aims to provide enriching global perspectives and sustainable cross-cultural experiences for all participants.
