On 27 May 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration of Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led a team of university executives and staff in welcoming Dr. Naoki Sakakibara, DC, President of the College of Manual Therapy, Japan, on the occasion of his official visit to UBU. The meeting was held at the Boontarik Meeting Room, Building of the President 2, Ubon Ratchathani University.
The primary objective of the visit was to discuss potential academic collaboration, particularly in anatomy practice and training at the College of Medicine and Public Health, UBU. As part of this initiative, the College of Manual Therapy plans to send a group of students from Japan to participate in a practical training program scheduled for late August to early September 2025.
This collaboration represents an important step toward the internationalization of UBU and provides a valuable platform for academic and cultural exchange between students of both institutions. Such partnerships not only enhance the quality of education and training but also foster mutual understanding and long-term academic cooperation between Thailand and Japan.
