On April 24-27, 2025, students from the Japanese and Communication Program, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU)—who completed the UBU Ambassador 2025 training program—participated in the 15th SCiUS Forum as student volunteers. Miss Jirapinya Moksri and Miss Buntita Jansong were assigned to facilitate and assist 19 international guests, including teachers and students from the following institutions:
1. Shibaura Institute of Technology Kashiwa High School (Japan)
2. Tokai University Takanawadai Senior High School (Japan)
3. Senior High School at Sakado, University of Tsukuba (Japan)
4. School for Gifted and Ethnic Students, National University of Laos (Lao PDR)
This engagement provided the students with a valuable opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through the UBU Ambassador 2025 program, particularly in foreign language communication, cross-cultural coordination, and real-time international problem-solving. Both students fulfilled their responsibilities excellently and received commendation from the event organizers for their professionalism and dedication.
The Office of International Relations and Educationwould like to thank the Faculty of Science, UBU, for providing this meaningful international engagement opportunity. We look forward to future collaborations that will continue to empower UBU Ambassador 2025 participants to develop their potential and gain experience in international protocol and event management.
