On April 9, 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) hosted the Songkran Festival 2025 at the Office of the President Building. The event was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University.
Key activities included a ceremony paying homage to Phra Phrom (Brahma), a Buddhist offering ceremony, and the traditional water blessing ritual. These cultural activities were held to celebrate and preserve the heritage of Thai New Year traditions, while also fostering positive relationships among university personnel and members of the surrounding community.
The event was attended by over 100 participants, including UBU executive board, staff, and representatives from local governmental agencies and nearby communities, reflecting the university's commitment to community engagement and cultural preservation.
