The Office of International Relations at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, organized the “UBU Ambassador 2025” program as part of the university’s annual “Youth Camp” initiative for the 2025 fiscal year. The event took place from March 18–19, 2025, at Ploy Palace Hotel, Mukdahan, with participation from 67 students representing eight faculties and one college, including the Faculty of Agriculture, Business School, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Liberal Arts, and the College of Medicine and Public Health.

UBU Ambassador 2025 focused on developing students’ leadership skills through diverse learning experiences and practical training. The program emphasized key competencies such as leadership development, English communication skills, professional etiquette for international hospitality, and confidence-building for serving as university representatives in welcoming international guests.

This initiative plays a crucial role in preparing UBU students for international engagement, equipping them with essential skills needed in the modern globalized world. Moreover, it provides a significant opportunity for students to apply their acquired knowledge and experiences toward shaping their future career paths.
