ENTECH DAY 2025: Showcasing Engineering and Technological Innovations

The Faculty of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), hosted the 2025 Engineering Technology Day (ENTECH DAY 2025) under the theme "Open the World of Engineering and Modern Technology." The event took place from February 20–21, 2025, at Building EN 6, Faculty of Engineering, UBU. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Tuantong Jutagate, Vice President for Research and Innovations, with a report delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mongkol Pusayatanont, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, UBU.

The primary objective of ENTECH DAY 2025 was to promote the integration of engineering knowledge into innovative solutions for sustainable national development, aligning with the faculty’s core mission in education, research, and academic services. The event emphasized analytical thinking and engineering skills, which are essential for systematic problem-solving and technological advancement. 

Assistant Professor Dr. Mongkol Pusayatanonthighlighted that this year's event marked the 19th consecutive year of ENTECH DAY. The program featured a diverse range of activities, including:

1) Research Exhibitions showcasing outstanding research projects, along with award presentations for researchers recognized at national and international levels.

2) Government and Private Sector Showcases displaying technological advancements and industrial collaborations.

3) Project Competitions for both undergraduate and graduate students in the form of poster presentations.

4) Engineering Skills Competitions fostering hands-on technical expertise.

5) Open House Activities allow visitors to explore the faculty’s academic programs and research initiatives.

6) Special Lectures by experts offering insights into emerging engineering and technological trends.

This event served as a valuable platform for engineering students to enhance their technical competencies, contributing to national development through innovation and hands-on project development. It also fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to engage in research, create innovative projects, and gain practical experience. Additionally, ENTECH DAY 2025 supported students and faculty in advancing research and academic services that address the needs of society and local communities. 

Beyond academic and research development, the event reinforced the faculty’s mission to produce highly skilled engineers with future-ready competencies that align with industry demands. Through the continuous enhancement of curricula and teaching methodologies, students are empowered to apply engineering knowledge, conduct research, and experiment with new ideas, ultimately driving sustainable technological advancements for the nation's future.
