On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, representatives from the Office of International Relations (IR Office), Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), participated in the Outstanding Test Center Awards Ceremony 2024 held at the Han Hong Meeting Room, Confucius Institute, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen Province.
The event commenced with welcoming and congratulatory remarks delivered by Assistant Professor Uthaiwan Danwiwat, Director of the Confucius Institute, Khon Kaen University (Thai side), to distinguished guests from various institutions. Subsequently, Professor Zhang Jiazheng, Director of the Confucius Institute (Chinese side), presented a detailed report summarizing the outcomes of the 2024 examinations, including HSK/HSKK and YCT tests. The ceremony culminated in the presentation of the 2024 Outstanding Test Center Awards and the Excellent Cooperative Sub-Center Awards.
During the gathering, the Confucius Institute shared updates and guidance on organizing HSK/HSKK and YCT examinations for 2025, focusing on adjustments to regulations and operational limitations for the upcoming year. The event also provided a platform for test organizers to exchange insights and share experiences from past examinations.
UBU’s participation in this prestigious event highlights the university's proactive efforts in preparing its team to establish a certified Chinese language test center. This initiative reflects UBU’s ongoing commitment to enhancing international education and strengthening academic collaboration.
