On October 24, 2024, students from the Smart Engineering Agriculture program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), participated in the Thailand Agriculture Drone Competition 2024, held at Suwan Farm in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This competition, highlighting agricultural drone piloting and maintenance, drew participants from across Northeastern Thailand.
The UBU team earned two prestigious awards: second place in both the Agricultural Drone Flying and Control Competition and the Agricultural Drone Maintenance Competition. Their participation was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Supawadee Chaivivattrakul from the Faculty of Agriculture.
This achievement reflects the students’ ability to apply their academic knowledge to practical, real-world situations and to build essential skills for their future careers. UBU is proud to support the development of highly skilled students, equipped to meet industry demands and foster entrepreneurial abilities.
