On October 16, 2024, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the President of UBU, along with executives and staff, warmly welcomed Mr. Liu Meng, Party Secretary, International College, Southwest University, Chongqing, China and Ms. Mayuree Thananusak, License Holder Representative, Hua Qiao Ubonratchathani School 2, at the Office of the President, UBU. The visit aimed to explore potential academic collaboration, particularly in developing a joint degree program to foster the exchange of academic expertise and experience between UBU and top universities in China. This initiative sought to enhance student competencies and expand opportunities for international education.
