On September 6, 2024, the Office of International Relations at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) hosted an Origami Workshop, led by students from the School of Global Studies at Tokai University. Held at the Office of Academic Resources, the event focused on Origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, where participants learned to create intricate forms such as birds, frogs, and rabbits.
This workshop allowed UBU students and staff to immerse themselves in Japanese culture while enhancing communication skills. Attendees had the chance to interact with international students, practicing English and, on some occasions, Japanese. The event provided a unique opportunity for the UBU community to engage directly with native speakers, enriching their cultural awareness and language proficiency.
