On September 2, 2024, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), through its Office of International Relations, warmly welcomed 21 exchange students from the Faculty of Global Human Sciences at Kobe University and 27 students from the School of Global Studies at Tokai University, Japan. Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the President of UBU led the opening ceremony with Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, and Associate Professor Dr. Surasak Khamkhong, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, in attendance.
UBU has maintained long-standing academic collaborations with both institutions, focusing on teaching, organizing seminars, and conducting research in humanities and social sciences. This year, students and staff from the Faculty of Global Human Sciences at Kobe University are engaging in exchange activities from August 31 to September 12, 2024. Similarly, the School of Global Studies at Tokai University will participate in exchange activities from September 1 to September 8, 2024.
