UBU's 34th Anniversary Foundation Day was celebrated on July 30, 2024, at His Majesty's 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Commemorating Building. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration, with a report given by Assistant Professor Dr. Piyanat Soikham, Assistant to the President for Organizational Communication and Social Engagement. The celebrations included ceremonies for the presentation of Royal decorations for 2022-2023, merit-making for 35 monks, honoring outstanding personnel in sports and other fields, and introducing new personnel.
Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai remarked that UBU has undergone significant change and development over the past 34 years. However, he emphasized that there is still much to be done in the coming years, encouraging everyone to work together to continue advancing the university and making it a source of pride for all.
As UBU enters its 34th year, the university strives to achieve its mission, which includes producing highly skilled graduates to meet industry needs, creating knowledge and innovation to improve the quality of life in society, transferring knowledge and technology through academic services, and promoting the culture and wisdom of southern Isan innovatively to drive the economy.
