From July 6-8, 2024, the Startup Development Unit of the New Entrepreneurship Development and Promotion Group at Science Park, Ubon Ratchathani University, took part in the Knowledge Sharing activity as part of the Entrepreneurship Acceleration in Higher Education Through Experiential Learning Program with Global Partners Project (ELP Program). Mr. Panpermsak Arunee, Director of the Division of Propulsion and Development of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) presided over the opening ceremony at the Regional Science Park Building (North).

Ms. Apicha Pinsakul, a Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences student at Ubon Ratchathani University, was chosen as 1 of 35 representatives from a nationwide business idea competition, competing with 840 participants from 16 universities across Thailand. She will gain experience from an International Incubator in the United Kingdom (UK). Additionally, Mr. Worachat Simani, a student from the Business School, made it to the final round and won another opportunity to join the project.

The ELP Program aimed to give Thai university startups a chance to engage in outbound learning, allowing them to understand real-world marketing challenges and situations in foreign countries. It also sought to create networking opportunities and processes for entrepreneurs from foreign countries to exchange knowledge and develop inbound learning processes for Thai university startups.
