On July 19, 2024, the President of Ubon Ratchathani University, Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha led the executive board, staff, and Chinese exchange students warmly welcomed Ms. Liu Hongmei, Consul-General from the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Khon Kaen along with Ms. Mei You, the Consul, and Ms. Zhang Changhui, the Consular Attaché, at the Office of the President, Ubon Ratchathani University.
During the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, provided a comprehensive overview of the university's collaboration with international agencies.
Additionally, Ms. Mayuree Thananusak, representing the Ubon Ratchathani University Operative Promotion Committee, facilitated discussions with administrators from Hua Chiew Ubon Ratchathani School. The meetings focused on enhancing cooperation between the two institutions and reviewed the outcomes of educational initiatives in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
This visit significantly strengthens the relationship between Ubon Ratchathani University and the People's Republic of China. It opens new academic opportunities for students and staff at both institutions. The university’s policy emphasizes collaboration with both public and private sectors domestically and internationally, aiming to integrate efforts in academics, research, and innovation. This approach fosters organizational growth, enhances knowledge and skills for students and staff, and builds a robust regional cooperation network.
