On June 14, 2024, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) organized a study tour to establish the Confucius Institute and Chinese Language Test Center. Leading the delegation were Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, along with staff from the Office of International Relations.
During the morning session, the UBU team visited Chulalongkorn University to review guidelines for establishing the Confucius Institute and managing the Chinese Language Test (HSK) Center. They were warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Han Shenglong, Director of the Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University, who provided relevant information.
In the afternoon, UBU visited the Confucius Institute at Kasetsart University, where they were welcomed by Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University, and other members of the Confucius Institute committee. Officials at Kasetsart University shared valuable insights and guidelines based on their experience.
