On May 2-3, 2024, the Office of International Relations (IR office) at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) visited Mahidol University and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to study international education performance. The delegation, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, was warmly welcomed by experts from Mahidol University International College (MUIC), the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Mahidol University, and AIT. This visit served as a valuable platform for enhancing UBU's international education performance.
On May 2, 2024, the UBU IR team visited MUIC where they were welcomed by Assistant Professor Dale Alan Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs, and his staff. They provided the UBU IR team with valuable information about international education. Later in the afternoon, the UBU IR team was welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttakritta Chotipaktanasook, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and her colleagues. The discussions focused on guidelines for academic cooperation and international programs, such as joint degree and double degree programs with educational institutions in China, as well as student management.
On May 3, 2024, the UBU IR team visited AIT and was warmly welcomed by Ms. Chalita Lertwinyu, Director of the Office of Thailand Affairs, and Dr. Tenzin Rabgyal, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, along with colleagues. The purpose of the visit was to explore international management and study guidelines for the development of international education.
These experiences provided valuable guidelines and platforms for UBU’s international education development.
