On March 7, 2024, the Faculty of Political Science at Ubon Ratchathani University welcomed Dr. Steven G. Olive, Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Regional Development Mission for Asia, and Mr. Nils M. Mueller, Director of the General Development Office, along with their team who discussed strategies for empowering local communities and young individuals and to foster effective collaboration with the local government. The event occurred at the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University.
USAID presented its plans to implement the Enhance Project, which aims to fortify local governance administration with a citizen-centered approach. The project's objectives include promoting effective communication, amplifying citizen voices, and leveraging innovation to benefit local administration in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
