Students from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University recently achieved notable success in the academic arena. They received awards in both the 17th Competition for the Creation of Academic Structures using Ice Cream Sticks and the 9th Competition for the Creation of Academic Structures using Wood and Iron. The competition took place at the Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, hosted by their Faculty of Engineering from February 15-16, 2024.

The 17th Competition for the Creation of Academic Structures using Ice Cream Sticks:
First Place:
Awards: A distinguished Royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and a scholarship totaling 15,000 baht
Third place:
Awards: A commemorative plaque and a scholarship amounting to 5,000 baht.
The 9th Competition for the Creation of Academic Structures using Wood and Iron:
Two Honorable Mention Awards:
Awards: Recognition plaques and individual scholarships of 1,500 baht each.
