On January 2, 2024, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation hosted Thailand Inventors’ Day 2024 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok. Associate Professor Dr. Anchalee Samphao, a researcher at UBU, along with her colleague, presented their research at this prestigious event. Furthermore, their research titled “A paper chromatographic-based electrochemical analytical device for the separation and simultaneous detection of carbofuran and carbaryl pesticides” was awarded the "Gold Prize" by the NRCT.

On this occasion, UBU congratulates Associate Professor Dr. Maliwan Amatatongchai for receiving the National Research Award from the NRCT.  Her research, focusing on molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP), biomarkers, 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), 3-nitrotyrosine (3-NT), 4-nitroquinoline N-oxide (4-NQO), nanocomposites, and electrochemical sensing, has garnered significant recognition. Professor Dr. Tuantong Jutagate, Vice President for Research and Innovations, also attended the event and extended his congratulations to her.
