On January 29, 2023, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) welcomed a delegation from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The UBU team, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Griengsak Kaewkulchai, Vice President for Administration and Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, included UBU executive board members. The AIT delegation consisted of Professor P. Abdul Salam, Dean of the School of Environment, Resources, and Development, Dr. Sarawut Ninsawat, Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Technology, Ms. Chalita Lertwinyu, Director of the Office of Thailand Affairs, and Ms. Alistina Shrestha, Marketing Manager for the School of Engineering and Technology.

 

The primary objectives of the visit were to explore academic collaboration opportunities and promote scholarship programs. During the meeting, both institutions discussed potential avenues for collaboration in fields such as engineering, business, and science. The encounter was a platform for fostering greater cooperation between the two esteemed institutions.
