On November 30, 2023, the Business School of Ubon Ratchathani University, led by the Dean of Business School, Assistant Professor Dr. Uthai Unphim, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand. The delegation comprised Mr. Akihiro Suzuki, Second Secretary, Mr. Yudai Aoyagi, Researcher and Advisor, and Ms. Siripat Supateerapong. The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential collaboration between the Embassy of Japan in Thailand and the UBU Business School.
During an important meeting, Mr. Toshiyuki Abe, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Paranda Onsuan, Marketing Researcher from Asean-Japan Consulting Co., Ltd. discussed investment opportunities in Ubon Ratchathani Province with Dr. Kanokkarn Tevapitak Cooke and Dr. Kidtaya Oudto, economic analysis experts from the Business School. Later on, they met with Associate Professor Dr. Surasak Khamkhong, the Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, to explore possible academic and research collaborations including the exchange of lecturers and students in the future.
Ubon Ratchathani University has taken another strategic step towards fostering academic partnerships with internal and external organizations. This initiative aligns with the university's overarching vision to be “A Leading University in ASEAN Improving the Quality of Life for Society.”
