On November 21-24, 2023, executives from Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) served as selection committees to interview candidates from Sekong and Attapeu provinces in Laos, in collaboration with representatives from the Laos Government and the Monsoon Wind Farm Project. These candidates were potential grantees under the "Monsoon Wind Farm Project".
The committees from UBU included:
1. Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk - Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education
2. Associate Professor Dr. Thanatip Lamkhom - Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Faculty of Agriculture
3. Assistant Professor Dr. Natapon Thongpriw - Chairman of the Environmental Program, the Faculty of Science
4. Dr. Chatphom Wiratchan - Head of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering
The initiative supports individuals who have completed grade 9 in Sekong and Attapeu provinces. Grantees for the project were candidates who passed the interview.
