On November 18, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the Acting President of Ubon Ratchathani University, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, the Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, participated in the commemoration of the 55th founding anniversary of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam.
Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) and the Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy have collaborated since 2013, focusing on joint initiatives, particularly student exchange programs. Notable achievements include the participation of Thai Nguyen University students in UBU's Language and Culture Camp. UBU nursing students also attended classes at Thai Nguyen University as part of a project entitled "Preparation for Entering the ASEAN Community." Additionally, UBU provided opportunities for students and personnel from Thai Nguyen University to engage in a project named "Development of English Skills to Raise the Quality of Ubon Ratchathani University Graduates" at the Faculty of Liberal Arts.
