The 17th TESA Top Gun Rally was held at Ubon Ratchathani University from November 19th to 25th, 2023. The Thai Embedded Systems Association (TESA), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Ubon Ratchathani University and the National Innovation Agency, Thailand (NIA), organized the event. This year's event’s theme was "Monitoring and Management System of Flood and Drought Conditions.” The event’s highlight was the presentation of a royal trophy by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to the ultimate winner.
The President of Ubon Ratchathani University, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, presided over the opening ceremony. During the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Mongkol Pusayatanont, provided a report. Dr. Watchara Chatwiriya, the Chairman of TESA, highlighted the event’s operational aspects. Overall, 49 teams representing 30 institutions nationwide with over 300 participants.
The Top Gun Rally was significant in addressing the needs of the industrial sector both at the national and international levels. It also aimed to engage with the local communities of Ubon Ratchathani to tackle water management challenges and provided insights into future initiatives to address similar issues.
