UBU Science Park Showcased Three Innovative Research Projects in Singapore

Professor Dr. Tuantong Jutagate, the Vice President for Research and Innovation, was joined by Associate Professor Dr. Chawalit Thinvongpituk, the UBU Science Park Director, and Mr. Kanatkit Thongpool, Assistant Director of UBU Science Park, along with the Science Park staff, in their dynamic presentation at "TECHINNOVATION 2023." This prestigious event was hosted by the Intellectual Property Intermediary (IPI) and took place at Marina Bay Sands from October 31 to November 2, 2023.

During this event, UBU proudly showcased three groundbreaking projects:

 

  1. "Natural Protein and Growth Factors for Topical Skin Rejuvenating Products,” spearheaded by Associate Professor Dr. Worranan Rangsimawong.
  2. “Shallot Extract for Scar Treatment,” led by Associate Professor Dr. Sureewan Duangjit.
  3. “Tropical Fruits Extract and Melatonin Encapsulated in Nanovesicles Sleeping Masks,” another remarkable project conducted by Associate Professor Dr. Sureewan Duangjit.

 

These innovative projects not only exemplify UBU's commitment to advancing biological research but also signify a significant leap towards the commercialization of these cutting-edge findings. Moreover, they serve as a catalyst for nurturing budding entrepreneurs among UBU's promising student community.

This mission holds a twofold purpose: firstly, to establish a robust channel for the dissemination of research outcomes to attract the attention of potential foreign investors, and secondly, to foster a thriving ecosystem of technological innovation. In doing so, UBU is actively contributing to the global landscape of research and development, while simultaneously nurturing a network of inventive minds and pioneering solutions.
