UBU congratulates students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts for being runner-up at the “Regional Poetry Competition,” entitled “Democracy.” This competition was hosted by the Poets’ Association of Thailand together with the Thai for Communication program, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University, held on October 14, 2023, at Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University.
Their team was named “Luk Mae Mun” (“Mun River Children”), and it consisted of 1) Mr. Kwanchai Manosri, 2) Miss Sirikanya Sahinkong, 3) Mr. Krittanon Sripoka, and 4) Mr. Arinchai Thongma, working with their advisor, Ms. Kamolwat Leknawa. The Chairman of the Poet’s Association of Thailand, Associate Professor Dr. Bunsanoe Triwiset, congratulated them on this success.
They will be the Northeast’s representative at the national poetry competition on November 2023 at Bansomdej Chaopraya Rajabhat University. This award serves as yet another source of pride for Ubon Ratchathani University.
