UBU congratulates fourth-year Political Science student Mr. Nitisart Ruangsri for receiving the “Ubon Ratchathani Outstanding Youth Award 2023” for the theme, “Social Development Promotes Children and Youth Participation” at National Youth Day 2023. 

 

On September 29, 2023, Mr. Nitisart Ruangsri received the award at the Ubon Ratchathani Municipality meeting room from the Ubon Ratchathani Province Office of Social Development and Human Security. Mr. Kanphon Sirirattanon, Deputy Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, presided over the ceremony, and Assistant Professor Dr. Piyanat Soikham, Assistant to the President for Organizational Communication and Social Engagement, and Ms. Amorn Wichaiwong, the Head of the Office of Student Development, Ubon Ratchathani University, joined in congratulating him.

 

Mr. Nitisart Ruangsri is vice chairman of the Ubon Ratchathani Province Children and Youth Council. He has led campaigns to address drug problems in Ubon Ratchathani Province and eight provinces in lower Isan, working with an education team for youth for education institutions at Ubon Ratchathani Province, including operations for the promotion of participation of children and youth in Ubon Ratchathani Province, a source of pride for Ubon Ratchathani University. Mr. Ruangsri is a positive role model for the youth.
