UBU and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai, India, Visited Osmania University

On September 15, 2023, the President of Ubon Ratchathani University, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, and the UBU executive board along with Mr. Nitorooge Phoneprasert, Consul-General of Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chennai, India, and his colleagues visited Osmania University. On this occasion, Professor D. Ravinder, Vice Chancellor, and his colleagues warmly welcomed the UBU and Royal Thai Consulate-General teams. This meeting sought the possibility of academic cooperation in humanities and social sciences between Thailand and South India. 
 
Osmania University, established in 1918 and located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is the seventh oldest in India and the third oldest in South India. Named after its founder, Nawab Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, it is one of the largest universities in India with more than 300,000 students and 5,000 staff on its campuses and affiliated colleges and as of 2012, the university hosted 3,700 international students from more than 80 nations. There are eight colleges located on the campus: the College of Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Science, the College of Law, the College of Commerce and Business Management, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the College of Technology, and the College of Physical Education.
