The Office of International Relations at Ubon Ratchathani University held “UBU Cultural Excursion 2023” in the Mueang, Sirindhorn, and Khong Chiam districts in Ubon Ratchathani Province from August 1-2, 2023. This provided an opportunity for UBU international and exchange students to meet and engage in cultural exchange through activities which consisted of:

observing architecture at Wat Luang (Luang Temple), Mueang district
-
walking with lighted candles in hand around a temple (wien thian) at Wat Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao (Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao Temple) in the Sirindhorn district

observing the natural border (Mekong River) between Thailand and Lao PDR in the Khong Chiam district
-
observing the candle parade and Thai dancing at the Candle Festival at Thung Si Mueang in the Mueang district

promoting cultural exchange for UBU international and exchange students
