In response to the Royal initiative, the Faculty of Agriculture at Ubon Ratchathani University has researched ways to expand its presence. In 2021, Daeng Ubon orchids were planted around the airport and bloomed in time to welcome tourists. In 2023, Ubon Ratchathani University would like to participate in welcoming tourists through this activity and promote awareness of the Daeng Ubon among tourists.
