The Office of International Relations at Ubon Ratchathani University, held an “English Skills Development Training for UBU Personnel 2023” project from June 2-4, 2023 at the Blu Hotel in Nakhon Phanom Province. On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsok, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, presided over the opening ceremony. The objectives of this training were to enhance English knowledge and skills and create a personnel network for Ubon Ratchathani University. The training was divided into two groups of lecturers and officers. Lecturers received training entitled “Trends in English Language Teaching and Assessment” hosted by Associate Professor Dr. Jirada Wudthayagorn, Director of the Language Institute, Chulalongkorn University.  Officers practiced English skills through a course “English for Careers” taught by Ms. Mairenallen Joy Basilio, a lecturer at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, UBU. On behalf of the Office of International Relations, we hope that all trainees will acquire greater knowledge and apply it to their work to benefit the university in the future.
