On March 27, 2023, the Office of International Relations at Ubon Ratchathani University welcomed Ms. Jin Jing, the Director of the Beijing Silk Road Xinyu Culture Exchange Center, China. Mr. Qin Yusen, former Cultural Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Thailand, and Professor Preecha Prathepha, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Innovative Learning at Mahasarakham University met at the Phibun Mangsahan meeting room in the Office of the President at Ubon Ratchathani University. 

 

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, along with the UBU representative executive board, initiated discussions about the possibility of cooperation between the Beijing Silk Road Xinyu Culture Exchange Center and Ubon Ratchathani University, including strategies for international education management, student and staff exchange programs, and collaboration with other institutions in China. Moreover, Ms. Jin Jing is interested in offering joint degrees in art, architecture, and pharmaceutical sciences. The Office of International Relations will coordinate discussions to prepare a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation and continue to promote collaborative activities.
