On March 13, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Oranuch Puangsuk, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, invited UBU’s Bhutanese students to meet the president prior to departure home after graduation. UBU admitted the three to study for bachelor's degrees at UBU. These are 1) Ms. Jamyang Selden, Faculty of Engineering, 2) Mr. Singye Wangchuk, Faculty of Engineering, and 3) Ms. Tshoden Yeshi Lhagyel, Business School.
