On January 7, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Adun Janyalertadun, Vice President for Administration, presided over the opening ceremony of a training entitled, “Ayurveda: The Indian-Thai Applied Science of Health Promotion” at U-place Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani University. Dr. Siriporn Janthanasakulwong, the head of the project, noted that this project presents alternative medical knowledge and the application of Indian and Thai medical science for health care. Activities consisted of lectures and health care workshops such as office syndrome relief massage and making herbal balm. The activities were held with the cooperation of the Embassy of India in Thailand, the Indian Studies Group at the Faculty of Political Science, the Faculty of Nursing, the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and the Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture of Ubon Ratchathani University.
