On December 23, 2022, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, UBU President, and the UBU executive board team met Ms. Ureerat Charoento, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) at the Government Center, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok. They met to discuss the university's preparedness to support human resource development and development assistance through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On this occasion, both parties discussed the possibility of international-level human resource development. UBU was found prepared to be a learning and training center for such TICA projects. In the past, TICA’s grantees studied at UBU, and UBU has also facilitated studies by Thai government agencies’ international study grantees.
