The Faculty of Agriculture at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) sponsored training with the cooperation of the Royal Thai Embassy in the Lao People's Democratic Republic and organizations within Khammouan Province from August 16-18, 2022. The training was entitled, “Aquaculture Technology in Saline Soil Areas”. Dr. Chaiwut Grudpan, Assistant Professor Dr. Achara Jutagate, and Dr. Jarungjit Grudpan from the Faculty of Agriculture served as lecturers for the training. This training highlights the strong and cooperative relationship between Thailand and Laos in driving the economic and social strength of the two countries and the Mekong sub-region. This activity is also in line with the UBU strategic plan to make UBU a leading university in ASEAN focused on improving the quality of life for society.
